WSSRA BOARD OFFICERS…
PRESIDENT- CURTIS HORNE
PRESIDENT ELECT- LINDA AVERILL
IMMEDIATE PAST PRESIDENT- RICK NEBEKER
After 30 years of public school service, I decided it was time to retire and try some new experiences. I retired as an elementary school principal, which was a very rewarding position. Additionally, I was on the state board for the principals’ association and ultimately served as state president. I feel this experience will assist me in the transition to our association’s board. At this time, retirees are experiencing a great deal of turmoil as they wonder how the negative economy will affect them. I see this as the main issue the board will need to address, and I feel I am ready to help the board with this task. I look forward to being the voice for the Retired School Employees in South Eastern Washington.
